LDL Webinar – NLC for Schools

Events | December 1, 2020 | Online @ 10:00 am

K-12 schools and educational facilities require proper illumination that is dynamically suited for students, faculty, staff, administration, and everyone in between. Whether or not these educational facilities have undergone a successful LED upgrade project – its simply not enough. To provide the best environment for the various tenants, ensure safety, improve maintenance, and further save energy, schools should implement Networked Lighting Controls (NLCs).

Aside from eliminating unnecessary energy usage associated with leaving LEDs on, NLCs can also help enhance the environment to be better suited for the various learning activities. NLCs can be the first step (and underlying infrastructure) towards total energy, asset, and smart facility management solutions across an entire school district.

The class is meant to help jump-start a lighting controls project in a K-12 school. Plug in to learn about the various lighting systems and their components, which systems or strategies are more appropriate for specific spaces and situation, what to expect from lighting audit to proposal, and how to best leverage utility resources.
