New Lighting is a Best Seller for Bookstore

Case Studies |

Beyond the western-style boardwalks and storefronts of Sisters, Oregon, are well-stocked galleries and shops, including Paulina Springs Books. This 3,400-square-foot independent bookstore features something for everyone, from cooks and crafters to literature buffs and outdoor enthusiasts. A recent lighting upgrade project has created a warmer, more inviting atmosphere for readers, browsers and employees, plus energy and cost savings for owner Lane Jacobson. He estimates the lighting project will save more than $2,000 in annual utility costs and reduce energy use by 79%. Central Electric Cooperative (CEC) provided cash incentives of nearly $4,000.
