Welcome Field Engineer, Lindsey Axberg

Meet our new Field Engineer, Lindsey! Her role with the Network will focus on marketing efficient HVAC technologies throughout BPA’s territory. We recently sat down with Lindsey to get to know her a little better.

1. What is your professional background/experience?

Sixteen years ago, I started my HVAC career in residential distribution as an entry-level CSR.  My journey in HVAC continued when I went into the modular commercial area. I quickly became the outside salesperson. After that, I managed a branch for the past 10 years. I worked in Las Vegas and Portland. Now, I’m covering the Pacific Northwest area.

2. What about your HVAC role makes you want to get up in the morning? 

I really enjoy helping people, and this role fits in line with that. I want to make sure distributors are aware of all the great opportunities to help their customers.

3. Do you have an example of a recommendation you made to a customer that exceeded their expectations?

I usually give the customer exactly what they ask. However, I will ask them if they know about other replacement opportunities and what the difference looks like. This has often led to savings that allow them to land more jobs and make more money.

4. What do you like to do in your own time?

I reside in Washington (near Portland) on 25 acres with my partner, our three horses, three dogs and a cat. I enjoy fishing, terrible reality TV shows, riding my side-by-side and just being home on the farm with my family.
