HVAC Tech Tip: Let’s Clear the Air

March 3, 2021 | Trade Ally Network NW

Here’s our New Year’s resolution for you: Challenge yourself to take on a project that you have not completed in the past. By adding a new project type to your portfolio, you’ll increase your knowledge base and expand your business opportunities. Here are three ways to get started:

  1. Lean more about indoor air quality. Indoor air quality (IAQ) is a topic at the forefront for many building owners. They know it’s important, but they don’t know how to get started. When you deepen your own knowledge, you can help property owners and managers improve ventilation, filtration and purification in their commercial buildings. If you missed our two-part webinar series focused on IAQ, catch up on some great information at the following links:
    IAQ Part 1: Ventilation
IAQ Part 2: Filtration & Purification
  2. Identify an advanced rooftop unit controls retrofit. Projects like an advanced rooftop unit controls (ARC) retrofit can help improve IAQ by monitoring and adjusting ventilation based on occupancy. Plus, it gives building owners the ability to easily adapt to changing ventilation needs. Check out our self-paced ARC online learning course for more information. In this 45-minute session, you’ll learn about ARC, view an installation overview, and understand how utility incentives are applied to this energy-saving upgrade to existing systems.
  3. Consult with your Network field specialist. Trade Ally Network NW can help you expand your experience with online learning opportunities, field engineers, a network of vendor and contractor connections, and utility incentives.
